Stan Belieu

Stan Belieu is the Director for the Nebraska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission  He serves as President of the Research and Education Foundation, and is a past president of the Board of Directors of the Ground Water Protection Council (GWPC).  He is a founding member of Risk Based Data Management (RBDMS) Steering Committee. He has served as a state lead for the FracFocus project.

Prior to state employment, Stan worked as a consulting engineer and geologist in exploration and production in the Rocky Mountain and Mid-Continent areas.  Stan obtained his bachelor’s degree in 1982.
